A look at the importance of the role of beverages in the food industry

For many people, the “food and beverage industry” may be summed up in food and a meal, but since the beverage is an integral part of the story, naturally, one cannot talk about something called the “food industry” without the necessity of “drinking”.
To put it better, when the human body loses its own water, it gives us a feeling that we call “thirst”; It means feeling the need to drink fluids. In hot summer days, we all need cool drinks. Of course, thirst is not the only reason to drink, but on cold winter days or after eating a fatty meal, although experts do not recommend drinking water immediately after a meal or on an empty stomach, a glass of hot tea or coffee can be attractive.

Millions of people around the world start their day with tea or coffee, and its popularity has turned it into a huge industry with a billion dollar turnover. Billions of people start the day with some type of drink, which can include water, herbal teas, and especially juice. In the meantime, the popularity of carbonated drinks such as soft drinks should not be underestimated. The big brands of carbonated soft drinks have adopted such generous policies that the fans of these drinks have increased every day more than yesterday. In chain restaurants in the United States and some European countries, it is free for customers to fill their soda glass or ask for a second soda, which encourages them to drink more. Research also shows that caffeine in carbonated soft drinks such as Coca-Cola and Pepsi is addictive, but non-alcoholic beverages are not exclusive to tea and coffee or sugary soft drinks. In the meantime, fruit juice also plays a significant role in the beverage market other than water. Fresh juices cannot be stored for a long time in the refrigerator or in the outside environment, so factories came into action and put various juices in bottles and envelopes and provided them to people in colorful packages.
